Each alligator piece is 2-3/4-inch by 1-1/4-inch by 1/2-inch with 8 cavities per mold. This mold makes approximately 20 pieces per pound of chocolate. Do not use for hard candy or other hot ingredients.

We made over 100 of these little guys over the weekend and the last eight came out as good as the first ones. We used Wilton's candy melts. A few of the tails broke off but we learned to be more careful taking them out of the mold (the mold is good and strong - use the motion like taking take ice cubes out of a tray).
