This tray of days 1 - 6 was the perfect addition to a Christmas project for the kids for school. The relief images show the individual details of each day.
We used this mold to make chocolates for my sister's bridal shower. They turned out very well. A short time in the freezer and they popped right out!
We purchased several mint molds when we purchased this, many of them only made 4 or 6 mints at a time. But this one makes a stack of them.
I ordered these molds to make some chocolate dinosaur for my sons party. The molds were to hard and releasing the chocolate was very difficult. I ordered some silicone ones that worked much better.
I used these to make dinosaur-chocolates for my son's birthday, but they were way too small. There were also bubbles in most dinosaurs, making it hard to recognize what they were. If you're wanting to make dinosaur chocolates, go for bigger ones!
I used these for my daughter's dinosaur party this past weekend. They were easy and fun to make. We used them to decorate her cake, but they are small enough that you could use them to top cupcakes, too.
I have owned these molds for three years now. They work OK. I have probably molded 300+ crosses. The trick is to get the molds cold (50 degrees or colder). Then the crosses pop right out.Only problem I have is with the chocolate changing. When freshly melted, the chocolate flows easily. After a few molds the chocolate starts to stiffen up in the double boiler.One thing I would change. When filled with hot chocolate, the molds, when set on a level surface, tip a bit toward the top of the mold. The chocolate flows toward the top of the cross. I take milk jug tops to set under the lip to level them off. It would be nice if the molds had levelers built into the plastic.
we were wanting the hard candy molds and got these instead. most of them have warped and melted by now and we are going to need to order the correct ones in the near future.
I tried this out as soon as it arrived and loved it. It makes nice big lollipops that are super easy to release. Couldn't ask for more!
I never purchased the product, but I thought I would mention why I chose not to buy it.I have purchased other CK products and they have been of adequate quality.7 1/2" x 3 3/4" is a HUGE chocolate bar. The chocolate bar would be about 1/2 a pound. a little large for a valentines day gift, unless that's what you're going for.just thought I'd highlight that aspect so that if someone else considers buying it, they will pay attention to the specs.Daniel
I really Love this design, pardon the pun. But I ruined it because I don't know I couldn't put it in the dishwasher, I wish they would have put that on a sticker :(
The product is fine....a chocolate mold with LOVE on it. However, the product is not 1/2" deep, it is actually 1/4" deep, with some of the letters in LOVE going up to 1/2" deep. Each of the letters is a different depth in order to distinguish one letter from the next. I returned the mold since I wanted a 1/2" deep mold, but there was nothing wrong with the mold and it would probably make for a great valentines chocolate bar or soap gift.
Plan to make these for Valentines day for my son's team! The mold appears sturdy enough for many uses. Will try to post an update in a few weeks!
The molds are a heavy plastic and make some really great suckers. However, the stick is so close to the edge of the back of the sucker that it falls out easily. They should have made the stick placement a bit deeper in the mold.
These pig heads are big enough to give alone in a cello-treat bag. Too big to want to bite right through, except for ears. Good treat and excellent features on the piggy-face.
I have not used this mold yet. It came very quickly and I have a carousel cake to do very soon, I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
I found this product easy to work if you are doing something special or you need something different. It's always useful to keep these items on hand just in case.
this mold is good quality, not flimsy, but the letters are very shallow.havent tried pipe-ing in the candy, but i think that would probably work better, filling with a spoon just made a mess.. i ended up with medallions with a letter imprint in one side :)
The lime is just kind of weird. It has an artificial flavor (yes I know it is, but it doesn't need to taste like it!)Works fine in the machine it is just a flavor issue. Their pink vanilla and blue raspberry are very good.
I bought this for my granddaughter's cotton candy machine given to her for Christmas. The flavor is great, and the cotton candy comes out light and lovely. It is easy to use, and the floss begins to develop as soon as it is placed into the machine. She uses it regularly for herself, her family and her friends. A little bit goes a very long way
its a good mold to do for fondant modeling and the faces could be a little more clear but overall good
We made over 100 of these little guys over the weekend and the last eight came out as good as the first ones. We used Wilton's candy melts. A few of the tails broke off but we learned to be more careful taking them out of the mold (the mold is good and strong - use the motion like taking take ice cubes out of a tray).
It is too shallow, makes the chocolate to thin & then the chocolate breaks. the tray is just way too shallow. :-(
The molds are easy to use and clean. Works great.Easy to fill the molds with the candy melt to produce highly detailed letters to decorate cakes, cupcakes and such.Shipment was very fast too!
This is good for a soap mold. I had trouble locating a mold of motorcyles untill I was shown this! It's just what I needed, thanks!
Quality craftsmanship, I would recommend this product..Used it to go with a baby shower cake. It turned out amazing..It was so easy to make a full baby bottle.
Got this as a gift over the holidays and it is a great mold for making wonderful chocolate accent pieces for specialty cakes and parties.
Cupcakes decore came out great! my customer loved it! I also added pics of the cupcakes I made using this mold
The trays clean up easy. It is easy to overfill them.The hacker cup is smaller than I wanted but it still worked well.
This was for the coaches. The kids were so happy. Nice details on the molds. I know I will use these again in the future.
